Invest in the people and relationships that make shared prosperity possible.

Threads Weaving Dreams has existed since 2007. We are small, rooted, and long-term. Our early priorities are community-led planning, paid coordination, cultural leadership, pilot resources, and the systems that sustain the work.
Where your support goes
Cultural leadership. Fair pay for the culture keepers, artists, and elders who carry this knowledge and teach it onward. This is the first thing we protect.
Paid coordination. The unglamorous work of scheduling, partnerships, reporting, and follow-through that lets everything else happen.
Pilot resources. Materials, equipment, space, and startup support for Weaver-led enterprises testing whether an idea can become work.
Care. The childcare, transportation, and community support that determine whether a woman can participate at all.
Community-led planning. Paying people for their time when we ask them to help shape the work.
How the money works
We combine grants and donations, which fund community access, cultural work, coordination, and early-stage development, with earned revenue from services, products, teaching, and contracts.
Money earned by Weaver-led enterprises is distinct from money supporting Threads’ coordinating role. Any shared-service payments or reinvestment commitments are transparent and agreed in advance.
Economic independence means greater choice and control over livelihoods. It does not mean every community activity must finance itself through sales.
